Recommended use of the sorbent:

• sorbent boom for containment and cleanup of oil spills and hazardous liquid leaks
• oil spill prevention
• post-separation water cleanup; continuous absorption of small amounts of oil substances from water in sewers and sumps
• for containment of oil spills on water surfaces and solid ground

Procedure for cleaning up oil spills:

1. Select the required amount of socks, or join individual socks to reach the necessary length.
2. Place the socks around the oil spill, or create a containment barrier in the direction of the liquid's flow using the sorbent boom. Alternatively, place the sock directly in the affected area. The oil will quickly absorb into the socks until their full capacity is reached (indicated by uniform dark coloration).
3. Replace the sock in case of full saturation or material damage. After the cleanup, remove the used socks and place them in a prepared container for hazardous materials.

Dispose of the used material in compliance with applicable regulations!
