Hydrophobic strip absorbent boom - 4 pcs, (Ø 13 cm x 3 m)

• the strips from which the sorbent sock is made significantly improve the permeability of the contaminated liquid, allowing the sorbent capacity of the sock to be used more quickly and effectively
• the strips are covered with a strong mesh that better resists mechanical stress
• thanks to the striped structure of the sock, it is very easy to squeeze out and reuse
• can be used in conjunction with sorbent fibers, such as HVV1305

procedure for dealing with oil spills:

1. choose the required number of sorbent socks, or tie individual socks to the required length
2. place the sorbent socks around the oil spill, or block the water flow with a sorbent containment boom in the direction of the spilled liquid. The oil will quickly be absorbed into the socks until the sorbent capacity is fully saturated (continuous dark discoloration of the covering)
3. regenerate the saturated sorbent socks. Remove and squeeze out the saturated socks. After squeezing, use the socks again as in step 2. Regeneration by squeezing helps to minimize the amount of sorbent used and separate the captured liquid
4. replace when fully saturated, or if the material is damaged due to repeated squeezing. After the spill is cleaned up, remove the used socks and store them in a prepared container for hazardous materials
