procedure for dealing with oil spill:

1. choose the required amount of absorbent socks, or connect individual snakes to the required length
2. place the absorbent sock around the oil stain, or block the water flow with a absorbent boom in the direction of the spilled liquid. the oil quickly absorbs into the absorbent sock until the absorption capacity is fully saturated (the cover will show a continuous dark discoloration)
3. regenerate the saturated absorbent socks. remove and squeeze out the saturated sock. after squeezing, reuse the sock as described in step 2. squeezing regeneration allows minimizing the amount of absorbent used and separating the captured liquid
4. replace if fully saturated or damaged by repeated squeezing. after the spill has been dealt with, remove the used socks and place them in a prepared container for hazardous substances
