Recommended steps for spill response:

1. Contain the spill.
   To prevent further spreading, place chemical sorbent socks around the spill. For extended barriers, overlap the ends of the socks.

2. Absorb the spilled liquid.
   Place sorbent pads on the spilled liquid until fully saturated (the pad darkens when saturated). For larger volumes, use loose sorbent.

3. Dispose of used sorbents.
   Place used sorbents into disposal bags and label them with “Hazardous Waste.” Then place the bags into the bucket.

4. Always use personal protective equipment.

Dispose of used sorbents in accordance with an approved emergency response plan.
