Recommended steps for spill clean-up:

1. Containing the spill
To prevent the spread of the liquid, place absorbent socks around the spill.
If a longer barrier is needed, lay the socks so that the ends overlap.

2. Absorbing the spilled liquid
Place absorbent pads over the liquid until they are saturated (pads will darken when full).
For larger spills, use the loose absorbent material.

3. Disposal of used absorbents
Place used absorbents into the drawstring bags and label them with the “Hazardous Waste” sticker.
Insert the bags into the bucket.
The absorbent sheet can also be used for prevention.

4. Always use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Dispose of used absorbents according to the approved emergency response plan.
