This textile sorbent effectively absorbs petroleum products, water, and aqueous solutions. It is a highly absorbent, compact non-woven polypropylene carpet with enhanced mechanical strength, reinforced with stitching, and isolated with a one-sided impermeable film.

Recommended Use:

• Suitable for indoor use only (absorbs rainwater).
• Pedestrian Areas: Especially effective for covering surfaces with pedestrian traffic.
• Absorption Capacity: Oil absorption of 53 liters, water absorption of 39 liters.

Procedure for Preventing Oil Spills:

1. Placement: Lay the sorbent on the area where contamination is likely. The sorbent is resistant to traffic and mechanical damage, making it suitable for covering work tables, etc. It creates a safe and non-slip surface.
2. Protection: Absorbed liquid does not penetrate the underlying surface.
3. Replacement: Replace the sorbent in case of complete saturation or damage. Remove used sorbents and store them in a prepared container for hazardous materials.
