Procedure for handling oil spills:

1. Select the appropriate size and shape of the mat, or cut it to the required length and shape.
    
2. Place the material on the oil spill and let it absorb. The liquid is quickly absorbed into the fabric until the sorptive capacity is fully saturated (visible darkening of the fabric).
    
3. Replace the mat once it is fully saturated. Remove the used mat and place it in a prepared hazardous waste container.

Dispose of the used material in accordance with current regulations!
