Procedure for disposing of oil spills:

1. Choose the required quantity and type of socks.
2. Place the absorbent socks around the spill area, or create a dam in the direction of the spilled liquid flow, ensuring that the ends of the socks overlap. The liquid quickly absorbs into the absorbent socks until full saturation is reached (indicated by a continuous dark color of the outer covering).
3. Replace them if they are completely saturated. After the spilled liquid has been removed, take off the used socks and store them in a prepared container for hazardous waste.
