Procedure for handling liquid spills:
 

1. Spread the material over the liquid and let it work. The liquid will quickly be absorbed into the individual granules until the absorbent’s capacity is fully saturated.
2. Accelerate absorption by mixing the granules using appropriate tools (e.g., shovel, rake, broom).
3. Replace the absorbent when fully saturated. Remove the used granules with appropriate tools and place them in a prepared container for hazardous substances.

Dispose of the used material in compliance with applicable legal regulations and directives.

WARNING:
When handling flammable liquids that generate combustible vapors, only use tools that will not cause ignition of the liquid.
